Original Story:
Extinction A.D. (This Is Hell) have lifted the veil on their new album “Faithkiller“, which Good Fight Music have on schedule for an August 21st release. Interestingly, the official press release lists the group as being comprised of ‘ex-members’ of This Is Hell. It reads:
“Comprised of ex-members of This Is Hell, Extinction A.D. has made a hard left-turn out of This Is Hell‘s hardcore zone, into full-blown thrashing metal mode. Debut album Faithkiller plays like a 21st-century powerhouse upgrade of ’80s thrash. Frontman Rick Jimenez and his crew synthesize the best aspects of early Metallica and Testament – the energy, passion, and titanium-strength hooks – and spit it back out with modern-day horsepower.”
If so, this is a particularly devastating blow to This Is Hell, as guitarist/vocalist Rick Jimenez, guitarist Christian Beale, bassist Pieter Van den Berg and drummer Mike Sciulara are all members of Extinction A.D.. That could possibly leave vocalist Travis Reilly as the lone remaining member of This Is Hell. The cover art and track listing for “Faithkiller” are available below:
01 – “Black Omen”
02 – “Civil Execution”
03 – “Instruments Of Death”
04 – “Echoes Of Life”
05 – “Prisoners”
06 – “Tu Enemigo”
07 – “Faithkiller”
08 – “Crisis: Indefinite”
09 – “Rot In Pain”
10 – “To Exist In Purgatory“
