The Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman has hinted that some “special” June shows will see the band retiring some songs from a “certain record” after airing them out live first. Among the bands scheduled June dates are:
06/13 Long Beach, CA – Ink & Iron Festival
06/16 Washington, DC – Rock & Roll Hotel (feat. Mutoid Man & Primitive Weapons)
06/17 Philadelphia, PA – Union Transfer (feat. Mutoid Man & Primitive Weapons)
06/18 Boston, MA – Royale Nightclub (feat. Mutoid Man & Primitive Weapons)
06/19 Montebello, QC – Amnesia Rock Fest
06/20 New York, NY – Irving Plaza (feat. Mutoid Man & Primitive Weapons)
With Faith No More back in full swing, one could hope that perhaps Mike Patton would rejoin the band for some tracks from their 2002 collaborative EP, “Irony Is A Dead Scene“, but then again that’s likely wishful thinking. That said, it’s worth nothing that the admat for the shows featured the artwork from “Miss Machine“.
