With two books to his credit, former Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan is in the running to pen a biography of Alice In Chains. McKagan was recently interviewed by Katherine Turman and said of his discussion with the bands bassist Sean Inez:
“Friday night, we talked at length. Like, ‘If you want me to do it, now’s the time, ’cause I’m done with this book. I’ll have this summer that I can start on it, you guys are working on music, you can put your record out, put the book out…’ Like, make it a whole thing. I’m a proponent of that band, I think it’s just a victorious story.”
An interesting note to take home from McKagan‘s comment is word that the band are actively working on material for a new album as well.
