Danzig has entered a Los Angeles, CA recording studio for his new album. Joining him for this latest effort are Prong‘s Tommy Victor on guitars, Johnny Kelly of Type O Negative, etc. fame on drums and apparently Steve Zing of Samhain, etc. on bass—though he was only mentioned by hashtag and excluded from the official post. The effort will mark Danzig‘s first new full-length since 2010. The following update was provided on that:
“Danzig in LA recording studio yesterday with guitarist Tommy Victor & drummer Johnny Kelly laying down tracks for upcoming Danzig record tentatively scheduled for late 2015 or early 2016 release. Not to be confused with the ‘Covers’ record, which is scheduled for a late Spring release, this will be the 1st all new material by Danzig since 2010’s ‘Deth Red Sabaoth‘…”
