Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson has suffered a non-life threatening stab wound to the back of his head in an altercation with his brother, Andrew Thomson. KCCI.com are reporting that an altercation took place early this morning (March 11th) between the siblings in a Des Moines, IA home and that both men appeared to have been intoxicated.
No charges have been filed as of yet, though police continue to investigate. It remains unconfirmed whether or not the victim is actually the guitarist of Slipknot or just a coincidentally named (Mickeal Gordon Thomson) and aged (41-years-old) individual. It has since been confirmed that it is indeed Mick Thomson of Slipknot.
