As Blood Runs Black are under fire from fans who claim the group have yet to deliver on the various perks promised by their crowdfunding campaign for their latest album “Ground Zero“. During that campaign the group raised $25,174 of their $50,000 goal for the effort. In particular, numerous fans who put down money for the effort have yet to receive their copy of the album, merch, etc. One needn’t look further than the bands Facebook for the public outcry, however, a sampling of the various disgruntled backers was compiled by MetalSucks.

As Blood Runs Black themselves have replied to fans about the delay, offering:

“Wasn’t our fault. Were on tour right now and was under the impression things would get taken care of. E-mail [email protected] to get an update on your status.”

The release of the album has been a fairly murky situation. A statement from the groups drummer Hector “Leche” De Santiago had them breaking up this past August. They later recanted and signed a deal with Standby Records, who put out the opus this past Tuesday, October 27th. Furthermore, the outfit also appeared to have been the victim of theft earlier in the year, in which they estimated  $20,000 worth of items was stolen.
