As I Lay Dying‘s Tim Lambesis was back before the Honorable Judge Carlos Armour in San Diego, CA’s North County Superior Courthouse today, July 18th. The purpose of Lambesis‘ latest appearance was an attempt to have the near year he spent on house arrest leading up to his trial deducted from his six-year prison sentence.
The judge denied Lambesis‘ request, ultimately deciding that he was not entitled to the custody credits. Radio.com was on hand for the proceedings during which the judge decided that Lambesis‘ house arrest status was that of electronic surveillance while out on bail, rather than being held in custody. Lambesis has most recently been locked up at the George F. Bailey Detention Facility in San Diego, CA.
Lambesis was of course handed down that sentence this past May, after having pled guilty to a charge of solicitation of another to commit murder. Lambesis had been shown to have attempted to have hired an undercover cop posing as a hitman to murder his then estranged wife Meggan Lambesis.
