Death Metal Band To Perform In Airtight Box Until They Run Out Of Oxygen For Art

A death metal outfit by the name of Unfathomable Ruination will spend the next days in close quarters. The band have signed on to perform in a soundproofed, airtight box outside of the Gherkin in London, England this week. In addition to movement, the box will greatly limit the bands oxygen and is part of an art installation from Portuguese artist João Onofre, specifically his ‘Box Sized DIE’ exhibition.

The band expect to perform in the box until they run out of oxygen. They will first enter it on Wednesday, July 02nd, at 8:45am local time. They will then perform the following two days at 6pm.
