“The Family:

We will not be performing at Download this weekend. Two of us were put behind bars in Flint, MI. on Thursday afternoon as we drove into Detroit Metro Airport for the flight to London.

Upon arrival the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team arrested David and Eugene and took them away in handcuffs.

At the time of this writing they remain in jail for an alleged assault from last year.

We apologize we cannot make it. We promise we will be there as soon as we possibly can.

Original Story:

Two members of the band King 810 were arrested yesterday, Thursday, June 12, at the Detroit Metro Airport. Both band vocalist David Gunn and bassist Eugene Gill had warrants out and were picked up while attempting to leave the country to perform at this years ‘Download Festival‘.

The pair were arraigned today, June 13th, on charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. Those charges stem from the pair allegedly attacking a man outside The Loft in Flint, MI in October of 2013. The pre-trial for both men is scheduled for June 17th.

Recently signed to Roadrunner Records, King 810‘s violent persona has been well known and something they have not avoided displaying. The group even went so far as to perform with masked gunmen onstage at the recent ‘Rock On The Range‘ festival.

The Flint Police Department provided the following booking photos of the pair:
