Black Map—the fledgling outfit comprised of members of dredg, Far, The Trophy Fire—have plans to release a full-length album in the not too distant future. Band guitarist Mark Engles (also of dredg) recently told Newnoisemagazine.com
“We already have enough material for a full length, but we wanted to get a small taste out there so people knew what we were about. It should help us get shows/tours and just more interest overall.”
On a related note, those holding out for another return from Far will be waiting for quite sometime. Band drummer/neon green Haro Master enthusiast Chris Robyn stated: ” “there is nothing new planned from Far anytime soon.”
