There’s a high chance of an April Fool’s day joke here, but Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor has shared the below instrumental version of a new song “new Periphery album demo” titled “Borthelcash“.
He offered with the track:
“So we have been working together the last few days to write our epic song for the new Periphery album. Something that would be able to follow “Racecar“. We are so excited that we said screw it and we will share the instrumental version with you so you can hear it! The song covers ground we have never touched before, and it is very thematic and goes through a lot of moods. Hope you enjoy!”
Update – April 02nd 10:47am:
Lest you still be unaware that the song was part of an April Fool’s day prank, Periphery frontman Spencer Sotelo offered the following of the track via his Twitter:
“I’m dumbfounded by how many people actually think Borthelcash is a real song. This is the problem that these generic “djent” bands cause.”
