Melvins frontman/guitarist Buzz Osborne is streaming his new solo acoustic track “Dark Brown Teeth” via Rollingstone.com. The song will appear on an upcoming limited 10″ titled “This Machine Kills Artists“, which will be pressed by Amphetamine Reptile in time for Osborne‘s solo acoustic tour in March (see below for dates.)
“This Machine Kills Artists” will feature four original solo songs along with acoustic renditions of the Melvins‘ “Let God Be Your Gardener” and “Revolve“. The new tracks are also expected to grace Osborne‘s 17 song solo acoustic album, which is due out in June through Ipecac. On top of that, another Melvins album is in the works as well. He said of that:
“We have another [Melvins] album in the works as well, it’s not gonna come out right on top of this, but it’s right there. And that’ll be a head-scratcher for people as well. I don’t really wanna let too much out of the bag ’cause it’s a good surprise.”
