Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme: “Fuck Imagine Dragons, Fuck The Grammys”

It would seem that Queens Of The Stone Age vocalist/guitarist Josh Homme is still harboring at least some resentment over his experience at the 56th annual Grammy Awards ceremony last month. He took a few shots during the bands Houston, TX set  (see below for footage) this past Sunday, February 09th; introducing his bands song “I Appear Missing” as follows:

“This next song is by Imagine Dragons… Just fucking kidding. Wait, wait, wait you gotta admit you’re all imagining dragons right now, aren’t ya? You know fuck everything, fuck the man, fuck Imagine Dragons, fuck the Grammys, fuck…. We’re supposed to be here with you, we ain’t supposed to be, like with some, like the bands dick in our hands, ya know? Although there ain’t nothing wrong with it.”

The Queens Of The Stone Age‘s “My God Is The Sun” lost ‘Best Rock Performance’ to Imagine Dragons‘ “Radioactive” at this years ceremony. Furthermore, the Queens Of The Stone Age‘s pairing with Nine Inch Nails, Dave Grohl and more was infamously cut into by promotional concerns and credits. Conversely, Imagine Dragons‘ pairing with Kendrick Lamar at the ceremony was not.
