A trailer for Lamb Of God‘s coming documentary film titled “As The Palaces Burn” has been released below via Empireonline.com. Not to be confused with the documentary on the planned November 11th re-mixed and remastered 10th anniversary edition of the album of the same name; this is instead the feature the band began filming last year prior to frontman Randy Blythe‘s arrest overseas.
Blythe was arrested and stood trial for the death of a stage diving fan at a 2010 show the band played in Prague, CZE and was eventually acquitted. The original plan for the documentary was to showcase the bands fans and how they came from all walks of life. However, the trial changed the tone of the feature.
It will debut at the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam, NET which runs from November 20th-December 01st. Theatrical and home releases are expected next year.
