Jim LaMarca (Ex-Chimaira) Steps Down From Youth Forgotten


Jim LaMarca (ex-Chimaira) has stepped down from his role as the live bassist for Youth Forgotten. He issued the below statement on that:

“After I left Chimara I knew that I wasn’t done with the music business, I wanted to be in a hardcore band. This has been one of the most creatively challenging projects I have had the pleasure to work on since the early days of Chimaira.

The line up of musicians combined with Rob Arnold‘s genius approach created a record I am truly proud to be a part of. However, with the arrival of my new son, I have to put my family first and focus on my management/production company and to help build up the band Youth Forgotten.

I can’t wait for all of my friends and fans to hear what we have put together on this record. Our message is revolutionary…”

Youth Forgotten enlisted LaMarca‘s ex-Chimaira bandmate Rob Arnold to produce, mix and master their debut effort, “Ghost Of A Fallen Empire“. They are shooting to release that in January with a stream of the new song “Nobody Cares” available after the break:
