Korn frontman Jonathan Davis doesn’t expect a full reunion of Korn‘s classic lineup to happen anytime soon—if ever. When asked by Metal Hammer if there was any chance of David Silveria returning to the outfit, Davis replied:
“No. I don’t wanna say any negative stuff, but where we’re at right now is perfect and Ray is an amazing drummer. He fits in good and doesn’t have any typical drummer’s complexes.”
Alongside some criticism of the band, Silveria himself recently stated:
“I would love to get back in the rehearsal studio with the guys and resurrect the original passion and unconventional writing style and make a record that stands up to the first three.
Of course before that could happen I would love to just sit down with guys and talk about our humble beginnings and really put things in perspective. I really hope to see you Korn fans again soon from behind my drum kit on stage with the guys.”
Korn will release their new album “The Paradigm Shift” on October 08th. The effort finds the band reunited with guitarist Brian “Head” Welch.
