There’s been some activity on As I Lay Dying‘s Facebook in the past 24 hours. Oddly enough, most of it stems around this auction for a guitar—which was previously used by the band to record “Within Destruction“. Its authenticity was disputed by the groups own Phil Sgrosso in a since-deleted post, with the bands account then offering:
“We’re in the process of clarifying the miscommunication with one member, but this guitar was in fact used on the album and on this song.”
Later replying to a a fan who appeared to be implying that their frontman Tim Lambesis‘ alleged murder-for-hire plot against his ex-wife Meggan was a result of him previously ‘swearing off’ his Christian faith, the bands official account replied:
“Tim is taking a new look at topics of faith that he at one point had sworn off altogether. We hope for the best outcome, even out of these events”
When told by another fan to “stop trying to pawn gear and tell us about Tim“, the bands account replied:
“What we know is the same as what we posted on May 8… “the legal process is taking its course and we have no more information than you do.””
