System Of A Down drummer John Dolmayan seems hopeful that the group will eventually get together and release a new studio album. During the end of the bands performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA earlier this week he took to the mic to state:
“Next time we come back we’re going to have a new fucking album.”
You can watch fan-filmed footage of that below. An outburst from band bassist Shavo Odadjian this past May revealed band vocalist Serj Tankian as being the holdout on new material from the group. Tankian himself later stated that he did not have the time to dedicate to a three year album cycle.
