Metallica‘s coming 3D film “Metallica Through The Never” will have an accompanying soundtrack. That 2-CD set is due out on September 24th through Blackened Recordings and includes live performances captured from shows the band performed at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta and at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC—the latter being where the performance footage for the film itself was shot.
iTunes pre-orders are expected to kick off tonight. CD and vinyl (both 33 /13 RPM and 45RPM formats) are also planned. The track listing for the set can be found below. “Metallica Through The Never” opens in IMAX 3D theaters on September 27th. A wide opening will follow on October 04th.
