As I Lay Dying, etc. frontman Tim Lambesis is due to appear in a Vista, CA court today, June 26th, for a “Felony Readiness.” This will serve as a private meeting between the prosecutor and the defense attorney with the possibility of a deal being struck. If no deal is reached the case’s next step will be a Preliminary Hearing at a future date.
Lambesis stands accused of “solicitation to commit and join in the commission of the murder of Meggan Lambesis” after allegedly attempting to hire a hitman to kill his aforementioned ex-wife. He has previously pled not guilty to the charge. Tim has been out on bail since May 30th, 2013.
