The release date of the first half of Five Finger Death Punch‘s separately-released double album has been met with a delay. The group will now release “The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1” a week later than expected on July 30th.

Furthermore, a deluxe edition of the release is also being prepped and will come with a bonus 15 track live CD titled “Purgatory [Tales From The Pit]“. Pre-orders for the album are expected to be launched on June 18th. A special limited edition box set version of the album is being prepared. It will include a Five Finger Death Punch branded lunch box, the deluxe version of the new album, an early free download of a new song from the effort  and more.

The band have various guest appearances lined up for the two album halves, including Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford, Soulfly vocalist/guitarist Max Cavalera, Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta and In This Moment singer Maria Brink. Rapper Tech N9ne will also make a guest turn on a cover of LL Cool J‘s “Mama Said Knock You Out“.
