Architects Cover Thrice & Bon Iver For New Re-Release Of “Daybreaker”

Archiects will be re-releasing their latest album “Daybreaker” on June 11th in North America to compliment their run this summer on the ‘Vans Warped Tour‘. The new version of the album will be exclusive to North America and feature three additional tracks, including covers of Bon Iver‘s Blood Bank” and Thrice‘s “Of Dust And Nations“. An original new track titled “Black Blood” will also appear (preview it here.)

Speaking of the re-release and more, the band—who are currently free agents—stated:

Black Blood will be premiered on Daniel P Carter’s Radio One Rock Show which starts at midnight on Monday (well, technically Tuesday).

Black Blood will feature on a reissue of Daybreaker that will be released in America on June 11th, ahead of our long summer on the Vans Warped Tour. The reissue will also feature covers of Bon Iver‘s ‘Blood Bank‘ and Thrice‘s ‘Of Dust And Nations‘.

We’re sorry that these won’t be released anywhere else. Its completely out of our control. We’ve repeatedly asked Century Media that it be released, even just digitally, in the rest of the world but they flat out refuse.

Seeing as most of the world (and most of our fans) are unable to buy it, you may as well find free downloads and get hold of it that way. If you American folk buy the songs and want to share them with non American folk, we won’t stop you.

Much Love,
