HELLYEAH‘s Vinnie Paul (also ex-Pantera, etc.) gave a somewhat oddball choice when it came to what he described as his “favorite record”. Paul was talking about hanging with acclaimed producer Terry Date during HELLYEAH‘s recent Seattle, WA show and offered the following about that via Facebook:
“Seattle was killer!! To top it off my friend and the most bad ass record producer TERRY DATE came and rocked out!! He was our fifth member of pantera when we made COWBOYS FROM HELL, VULGAR , FAR BEYOND and GREAT SOUTHERN.. He’s also done sound garden , overkill, korn whitezombie and my favorite record WHITE PONY BY DEFTONES!! what a night!! Thank you all!!”
Given the nature of the recap, Paul could of course just be listing his favorite records Date was involved with. That said, still high praise considering some of the legendary albums listed.
