Of Mice & Men Singer Austin Carlile Arrested For Assault (Updated)

According to a report running over at bgnews.com, Of Mice & Men vocalist Austin Carlile was arrested this past weekend for “felonious assault” along with the bands drum tech, Lionel Robinson.

Citing police reports, the assault apparently took place early in the morning of Saturday, March 30th in Bowling Green, OH. The charges stem from an altercation between two groups of people which left one person unconcious with “fractured nasal bones”.

Both Carlile and Robinson were beind held in the Wood County Justice Center without bond and appeared for video arraignment this morning. Carlile is said to have been released on $25,000 USD bail with the case to resume on April 15th, 2013. Of Mice & Men cancelled two of their scheduled appearances this past weekend as a result of the incident, offering at the time:

“Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to make our next two dates with A Day To Remember this weekend. Apologies to any of you that purchased tickets to see us at these dates we will make it up to you guys as soon as possible!”

As of yet the bands camp have declined to comment on the matter.
