Queens Of The Stone Age Reveal More Guests & Details For “…Like Clockwork”


More details have come to light from the Queens Of The Stone Age in regards to their forthcoming new album, “…Like Clockwork“. The band issued the below image in regards to the album, which will see the light of day in June via the bands new label home, Matador Records.

Extensive touring is of course planned for the album, which was recorded at Pink Duck Studios in Burbank, CA with band leader Josh Homme and the group overseeing the production duties. The image also revealed some new participants for the coming opus, mentioning that now former drummer Joey Castillo appears on the album, as does ex-The Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore.

Also newly announced for the album are guest turns from Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys and James Lavelle of UNKLE.

Other guests on tap for the effort include: Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, ex-Nirvana) handling the studio drumming on the bulk of the songs; Elton John, Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails, etc.); frequent collaborator Mark Lanegan (ex-Screaming Trees); ex-Queens Of The Stone Age bassist/vocalist Nick Oliveri and Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters.
