Queens Of The Stone Age Reportedly Sign With Matador Records, Offer New Album Audio Teasers (Updated)

6

A series of seemingly random audio teasers from Queens Of The Stone Age‘s forthcoming new album have been released via the groups official website, Qotsa.com. Refreshing the page appears to randomly bring up a different clip. Some of the social sharing functionson the splash page also mention the month of June and Matador Records—making a pretty strong case for the album’s release month and apparent new label home of the band.

When the album does arrive it will feature an abundance of notable guest performers. Those on tap include: Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, ex-Nirvana) handling the studio drumming on all tracks; Elton John, Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails, etc.); frequent collaborator Mark Lanegan (ex-Screaming Trees); ex-Queens Of The Stone Age bassist/vocalist Nick Oliveri and Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters.
