Periphery offshoot The Mothership have announced that they are now working on two albums. Speaking through their Facebook, the group stated:
“So one album turned into two albums…. The concept is too big for one record and the 2nd half is way darker and more progressive than the first. Expect two records in the next year and a half.”
Recording sessions for the material recently kicked off with Taylor Larson (Sky Eats Airplane). The Mothership feature Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo and drummer Matt Halpern. Their lineup is rounded out by rhythm guitarist Justin Gosnell and lead guitarist Nick Johnston.
