Opeth and Katatonia‘s much-rumored North American tour together has been officially announced. The trek (dates posted below) will see some special performances, including Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree/Storm Corrosion joining Opeth onstage at the April 28th show in Clifton Park, NY. Meanwhile, the April 29th Brooklyn, NY and May 24th Los Angeles shows are being billed as “rare and intimate evenings” with Opeth.
VIP packages will be made available, and among other things, include an exclusive double 12″ clear vinyl pressing of Opeth‘s latest effort, “Heritage“. They will soon be made up for purchase at this location later this week.
