Scissor Sisters Vocalist To Guest On New Queens Of The Stone Age Album

The forthcoming Queens Of The Stone Age album is shaping up to be jam-packed with guests. Scissor Sisters vocalist Jake Shears took to his Twitter earlier this week, posting the following series of tweets about what looks to be his own cameo on the effort:

“I just got to do something insanely cool with some fierce Queens.”

“Jake Shears + Queens of the Stone Age = satanic cabaret ”

“After singing together for awhile, Josh Homme and I settled down to watch some educational films. #newQueen”

A series of photos of Shears with Josh Homme and crew were attached to the aforementioned tweets. As previously reported, the album will feature studio drumming from Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, ex-Nirvana) and a collaboration with Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). Ex-Queens Of The Stone Age member Nick Oliveri is expected to make a cameo as well. A spring release date is currently being touted for the opus.
