Novinky.cz are reporting that Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe has officially been indicted on manslaughter charges. The State Prosecutor’s Office filed the charges this past Friday, November 30th in Prague, CZE and now have three months to set the date for the trial or move it back for further investigation.
According to the site, Blythe faces five to ten years imprisonment if found guilty. The charges stem from the death of a 19 year old fan who suffered fatal injuries at a 2010 show the band played in Prague, Czech Republic. Footage from the show has shown the fan to have had numerous onstage interactions with both Blythe and the venue’s security.
Blythe, who is currently out on bail from the charges, has previously stated that he will return to Prague to defend himself.
