Today’s (July 30th) scheduled “Summer Slaughter Tour” (Cannibal Corpse, Between The Buried And Me, etc.) show at The Ritz Theatre in Tampa, FL was delayed as a result of a shooting threat.
According to a report on Metalinjection.net, a fan overhead another concertgoer state they wanted to shoot the singer of Job For A Cowboy. Security was informed of the situation with the venue being temporarily shutdown for security and responding police to do a thorough check for any weapons.
None were apparently found and the show went on as planned. Periphery guitarist Jake Bowen posted this photo from the scene.
