Project 86 Reel In The Guests For “Wait For The Siren”, Album Due Out In August

Project 86‘s forthcoming album “Wait For The Siren” has been tipped for an August 21st release date. The song “Fall, Goliath, Fall” will serve as the first single from release, impacting at radio late this month.

The album finds frontman Andrew Schwab joined by a retooled studio lineup that included:

Andrew Welch (Disciple)
Blake Martin (A Plea For Purging)
Rocky Gray (Evanescence, etc.)
Cory Driggers (The Wedding).

Guest vocals from Living Sacrifice‘s Bruce Fitzhugh and Brian “Head” Welch of Love & Death/Korn fame will also appear on the effort.

Schwab had the following to offer on the album:

“The first time I walked on stage to perform it felt foreign, other-worldly. The freedom I felt was powerful. We were part of an underground movement that took hardcore and made it accessible. With the new album, Wait For the Siren, I wanted to pull from a similar place emotionally while integrating new sounds, new instruments and new collaborations.

On this record I was really able to take the reins of the creative process in a direction I was passionate about. I was able to write songs that pushed me to grow as an artist. I was also empowered by a great sense of camaraderie in working with so many talented friends.”
