Strife To Resume Recording New Album This Month

Strife will head back to the studio this week to resume tracking their new album. Initial sessions for the effort recently took place in Brazil with Iggor Cavalera (Cavalera Conspiracy, ex-Sepultura) handling the studio drumming.

Sixteen songs in total were tracked with the band now set to work on laying down the remaining instruments at Blood Tracks Studio and Sunset Lodge in Los Angeles, CA. Terror drummer Nick Jett will be handling the production duties for the sessions with plans to have the album done in early April.

Speaking on Cavalera‘s contributions to the outing Strife guitarist Andrew Kline stated:

“The album is about halfway done, and we couldn’t be more excited… Iggor absolutely killed the drum tracks. He played a lot more straight forward then he normally does to fit our style, and then added the right fills and touches to really stand out…”

Further details on the effort, including title, release date and label, will be revealed in the coming months.
