Slipknot percussionist M. Shawn Crahan (aka Clown) has checked in with some more updates regarding the upcoming EP he is producing for Dirtfedd. Speaking via his Facebook he offered the following:
“We are doing Pre Pro for a five song EP that will be out early next year. We picked the 5 songs from 15 and two have been gone through. Things are sounding amazing. One song is called “Sutures” and the other is called “The Line Between”. We are going to try and get one more done today called “Hindsight”. These are all tentative titles as of now. We are working on these songs at Sid’s Studio here in Des Moines. I am so excited. We’ll post some crazy photos I took last night after we drank a bunch of beer. Stay tuned. It’s beautiful here in Des Moines.”
He also added the following another update earlier today (October 02nd):
“Good morning everyone. Today is the last day of pre pro with the band Dirtfedd. We have been working extremely hard since Friday and decided to add one more song to the EP making it six songs. We are also going to do one live video that I will direct that will be extremely violent and there will be a video that will be designed around the making of the EP.
I will post some photos soon and we are all very happy. It has been awhile since I’ve got to produce so I am having a great time and these guys are all good people and my friends. Check their itunes for their debut album “The American Nightmare”. Check out the song “Wasted”, it’s a personal favorite of mine. http://itunes.apple.com/us/art?ist/dirtfedd/id316623274http://itunes.apple.com/us/art?ist/dirtfedd/id316623274“
