Awhile back a regular PRP reader (yes, it was you Surly) requested a better way to keep up on the recent comments made on Theprp.com for those who have jobs/lives/wives, etc.. While the Recent Comments sidebar down there on the right of the page definitely helped, it only showed the last 5 comments made.
Understandably this was not an ideal situation for those encumbered by responsibility who enjoy a good gab here and there. In turn some brainstorming led to the newly-launched Recent Comments section, which you can access directly at Theprp.com/recent-comments/.
A static link to the new Recent Comments section is also available directly below the above-mentioned original Recent Comments sidebar widget on the right of the page (you may need to refresh your browser to see it.)
The new Recent Comments section represents a real-time feed of comments being made on the site. A click on the text of the actual comment will take you right to it so you can reply, thumb it, print it out and frame it or whatever it is you people do these days.
Essentially this means you can throw away that mental notepad of what you last commented on to see if someone zinged you or find out immediately when some noob stumbles on an old news piece and comments on it.
