Members of Trivium re-entered the studio today to do some more recording for the bands upcoming album. Speaking through Twitter, group frontman/guitarist Matt Heafy offered the following:

“Back into the studio tomorrow for the 3rd album record take of two songs’ verses and some random bits. We’re making this f’ing good for you.”

Heafy also teased a ‘special’ project with the following:

“Day 1 of rehearsals for… “something.” You’ll just have to wait and see what it is when the album comes out.”

Band bassist Paolo Gregoletto also teased the same project with the following tweet:

“Rehearsal today and all week for a top secret project this Sunday.”

Trivium most recently finished up shooting a music video for the as-yet unannounced first single from the album with director Ramon Boutviseth (All That Remains, Trivium). The clip is expected to feature a water theme and saw the band use a high speed Phantom Flex camera. More details on all of the above are expected in the coming weeks, while the groups new album is tentatively expected out on August 09th through Roadrunner.
