Trivium are close to wrapping up writing new material for their next album which they are slated to begin recording next month. Speaking on their latest progress, band frontman/guitarist Matthew Heafy offered the following update via Twitter:
“14 songs, demo round 3 completed. 1 year into writing, almost 4 months into demoing. Gonna be damn good.”
Meanwhile, band bassist Paolo Gregoletto checked in with the following update:
“Tracking for round 2 of demos is complete. Tomorrow I will mix and make sure everything sounds good to send to management and the label.”
As previously reported, the band will enter Audiohammer Studios to begin recording the album in October with the production team of Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine) and Martin “Ginge” Ford (Funeral For A Friend, Bullet For My Valentine).
