DevilDriver frontman Dez Fafara has checked in with the following update regarding the bands impending studio plans:

I’ve just finished the DevilDriver Demos and am leaving for El Paso within days!
This record is intense ! Full of Raw emotion ! The players have stepped up there game and are bringing new flavor to the tunes.
Even though were not releasing till next year , Im happy to inform ya this music is blistering ! DevilDriver on steroids !”
As previously reported, the band will begin recording their new outing at Sonic Ranch Recording Studios in Tornillo, TX this week for an early 2011 release. A new live DVD effort will precede the album, landing in stores in October/November via Roadrunner.
