I honestly like the only non BMTH style songs on this album, first track especially. I’ll still see them live, saw them at the AP tour a few years ago, and my friends band used to tour with them in Sheffield back when they were a savage deathcore band.

I dislike it for the same reasons I dislike their other shit. Some of the music is actually pretty good. The band does a decent job of writing songs that slowly build up intensity but when it finally comes to a peak and erupts, the vocalist’s screams are too weak to match the fury of the music. I feel like I’m a just matter of seconds away from destroying my living room but when the vocals come in, I immediately come to my senses and put down the table lamp. I don’t care much for the emo-ish choruses or the gang vocals either.

They have loads of potential but they’ve never been able to put it all together in a way that I can appreciate. Just a matter of taste though. I don’t think they’re Five Finger Death Punch bad or anything.
