Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine Confirms The Band Have Found A New Label, ‘Gigantour’ To Return This Year
Megadeth have already found a new label home following their departure from Roadrunner Records. Speaking with Vintagerock.com, Mustaine offered:
“We have the ability to do what we want and we’re with a great new label. We’re doing a press release about it soon. I can’t say who it is; you know I’d love to tell you who it is… But we’re not with Roadrunner anymore. That was some good years for us there, and we really look back with great fondness on our times with Roadrunner. But the excitement level for us right now is just insane.”
The band have been in the studio as of late tracking the new effort with producer Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind). Furthermore, the interivew (see below) also sees Mustaine confirm that the groups ‘Gigantour‘ will once again take place later this year in both the U.S. and South America. While he didn’t mention any names for the trek, he did note that one of the acts onboard are “notorious bad boys”.

grandma!?…that you!?
Any guesses as to these notorious bad boys? For me it hearkens back to Crue but thay wouldn’t make much sense from a billing standpoint. It’s really using the.vaguest possible terms to describe a metal band. All you can really rule out is Underoath or something.
For Today
Mustaine is actually only 32 but the amount of drinking and drugs he did quickly doubled his age in appearance.
