2013 ‘Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival’ Lineup To Be Announced In March
An official announcement regarding the lineup for this years ‘Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival‘ will be made on March 18th.
The festival will once again feature a Main Stage from the title sponsor along with a Jagermeister-backed second stage. A Sumerian Records/Headbang For The Highway stage will also return, with a stage sponsored by the Musicians Institute to be featured as well.
A trailer for the coming announcement can be found below:

COMMENTS
The trailer was more or less a blast to the proverbial past… The proverbial 90s Numetal past that is.
Disturbed clip? I THOUGHT THEY BROKE UP! INTERESTING.
SOAD would have been nice. But Serj needs to start putting balls into his singing again.
Still, depending on taste, the combination of bands showcased above could be a generally satisfying one.
And no, keep your trousers tight, I’m not calling Slayer Nu-Metal. Good to see them in there.
That was all music/clips by bands that have been on the tour in the past, you dingus. Of course they’re not going to tease an announcement in January and give away the answers by playing the music of the bands that won’t announce until March. I mean, c’mon.
Yep, I’m just gonna go ahead and dislike my own posts because I did indeed have a bit of a brain fart over there.
Don’t know why I was thinking the video was hinting at certain probable bands and the rest of the lineup was to be released later on.
D.e.r.p.
My favorite tour every year. Although I am looking forward to Orion. Always exciting to see who’s playing Mayhem every year.

Motley fucking Crüe better headline this shit.
I could see Crue/5FDP as Uproar headliners
Motley Crue, being one of my all-time faves, better not be at this shit.
I want a Crue headlining tour, NOT them playing for a bunch of irritating, annoying kids. Give me a Crue/Skids co-headlining tour (with Sebastian Bach back in fold) with Whitesnake (w/Reb Beach & Doug Aldridge on guitars) opening. Only then could I finally die a complete and happy man.
That would be pretty sick. Fucking love Whitesnake.
Of course we do, we’re old.
Sounds good to me
You had me at Bach-ful Skids
Motley Crüe, are you serious!? Fuck that glam shit. A bunch pussies wearing tights and makeup hahahaha. Lts get poison or winger. Better yet Cinderella!! Best tour ever, lol.
Lol, bring in on Crüe followers I’m prepared.
“Those Pussies” statistically have probably shoved some kind of object inside your mother.
your right because Chelsea Grin, In This Moment and Motionless In White on Mayhem 13 are so much better.
Aside from MC being extremely badass, there’s not a metalcore band alive right now that doesn’t get all their hair and fashion tips directly from the Crue. Most metal musicians under 30 today look like Nikki Sixx’s illegitimate offspring…. and most likely are.
Sure there is, Parkway Drive wears bathing suits and flip flops.
Cinderella for the most part sounds more like hard rock than glam metal.
Cinderella was more blues based
@Media, Aint nobody got time for that.
All I’m gonna say is Daniels is a fucking moron. Motley Crue haven’t worn any of that shit in like 20 years. Get a clue, asswipe.
Good music is good music, son. They may have had a glam look at one point but their music has NEVER been glam. You’re obviously a kid.
None of the bands I listed (Crue, Skids, Snake) have ever had a glam sound. Those bands right there are the trifecta of awesomeness from the 80′s. Skids alone will crush most bands nowadays.
At this point Crue dresses like a hybrid of the movies The Warriors and Escape from New York. And so is their stage show.
In fact Crue threw a shit fit about the Poison tour being called Glamegedon seeing as how Crue is about 129 times heavier than any glam band ever.
Saw them at Crue Fest 2, Vince sounded HORRIBLE. Skid Row with the “new” singer sounds way better.
I swear I already saw this line up announced…
Rob Zombie
Deftones
Killswitch Engage
Behemoth
Job For A Cowboy
In This Moment
etc..
I would go if that is the line up.
Shit, I’ve gone to every Mayhem since 08′ and I almost didn’t go in 2011 because of how shitty the lineup was. If this was the actual lineup then I’d be there when the sun came up. Rob Zombie though…fuck.
Deftones and killswitch would be tight!!!
Depswa and 3rd Strike would be better
Union Underground & Flybanger yo!
Endo and From Zero!
S.T.U.N. & Memento
Pulse Ultra, Puya and No One
Shuvel, and Primer 55
40 Below Summer and Ill nino
Motograter and Mushroomhead!
Reveille and Unloco!
Videodrone and Ultraspank!
Crossbreed and the dead lights
Eve 6 and Orange 9mm
Pressure 4-5 and Grade 8!
Apartment 26 and Full Devil Jacket!
Hey now, let’s not fuck around with ORGANGE 9MM, they were awesome. Besides, they were a post-core crossover straight from New York’s hardcore scene. They never had the Nu Metal sound.
The same goes with CIV and QUICKSAND.
Earshot and Flaw.
Esham! amirite?!
Twisted Method
Otep and Butcher babies.
As long as tits are exposed I’m on board.
40 being added to this tour would be fucking amazing.
The rumored Line up is supposed to be
Rob Zombie,
Deftones,
FFDP, Killswitch, In this Moment, Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth, Job for a Cowboy, Behemoth and Battlecross.
I thought FFDP is rumored for Uproar? Battlecross would steal the show on this line-up, no doubt. There’s going to be a lot more bands than this, they’re expanding to 4 stages now. How that’s going to work in Houston is beyond me, they can barely fit 2.
LOG was supposed to be on it but they just had 5FDP replace them to avoid a headache allegedly
these are just the rumors right now, the drummer of FFDP confirmed they were playing at NAMM, as well as bodom and Cowboy, clearly there are more side stage bands to be added.
no rob zombie. tired of him. used to love the guy, then hollywood went to his head imo.
I have heard, Zombie, FFDP, LoG (now that randy is free), Then the rest of the bands you have listed, and Butcher babies and motionless in white.
I went to NAMM and talked to one of the musicians in a band rumored to play and he verified Death Punch to headline with Deftones, Lamb Of God, Behemoth, Amon Amarth, Children Of Bodom, Battlecross, In This Moment. I was following the rumors at http://www.facebook.com/wolverinekills and it looks like they are correct for the most part.
I highly, highly doubt 5fdp is going to headline mayhem this year. They haven’t been around/sold enough records. Those two things plus the fact that they’re straight trash…
Their last record reached gold status last year and it came out in October 2011, they’re very good with staying on the billboard as well, although I agree I don’t think they will be headlining Mayhem, last year they were playing 1/3 full arenas on trespass.
Ah, gold and platinum records, the true sign of a talented band.
Talent doesn’t headline festivals, popularity does.
FFDP hasnt sold CLOSE to korn, marilyn manson, slipknot or disturbed (the past headliners). The fact that they are MUCH WORSE than the rest of those bands has nothing to do with them headlining or not… I dont make the rules, i just work here.
Ps- fuck you wurst… I WISH i lived in the same state devourment was fuckin from… you fuck… godamn… lol
Ahh, Devourment. Good ol’ Denton, TX. I met the drummer years ago, and the guy is a freak*.
*absolutely ridiculous drummer.
This tour will suck. The Mayhem Fest is fucking garbage whether there are a few good bands on it or not. And they should change the fucking name of this shit too. If you call a bunch of obese 15 year olds with garbage bag pants on farting around all day, “mayhem” I don’t know what to tell you.
Seeing Slayer, Motorhead, Anthrax, As I Lay Dying and WhiteChapel all on one bill was well worth it. people there range from 5-50 and are super nice. Although there was this retarded mother waving her baby as if he/she was Simba during Slipknot in the pit
Seeing Cannibal Corpse and Behemoth that one year was pretty sick. I will give em that.
