I love Phil’s habit of stopping a song’s intro and giving everyone a pump-up lesson.

Phil’s screams sound pretty good still.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Good to see that Captain Spaulding still brings the heavy riffs on the six.

I was at this show. before they started the song Phil told us that they havent really practiced it at all. They kinda did the song in parts. Kepts stopping. It was pretty good. Earlier in the show, some dude spit on Phil. He stopped the show and called the kid out. He was not happy. This was an amazing show. Phil always makes it awesome with his crowd interaction. Whoever said he was losing his voice doesnt know shit.. awesome show.

His voice was sounding like shit for a while. It seems strong now though. Phil is obviously leading a much healthier lifestyle now than he was then so I’m sure that has something to do with it. Can’t wait to hear a finished version of this song.

I’m jealous of everyone that was there. The Orange Peel is a cool ass venue and that whole region of the country is fucking gorgeous. I’ve got a buddy from MI and some family there. I need to get my ass back down there soon.

I went to a conference in Charlotte and they have palm trees in the expressway medians – both cool and odd.

asheville, boone all those areas are awesome. carolina has beaches and mountains. its pretty tight. I live right in the middle though so its a drive either way. I think deftones played at the orange peele with DEP . i missed it though.. maybe wrong

I live in Waynesville and I agree, it’s a great area…less the fact that it is in the bible-belt.
