Queens Of The Stone Age Said To Be Recording New Album

The Queens Of The Stone Age are apparently holed up at Rancho de la Luna studio in Joshua Tree, CA recording a new album. The news comes from a recent encounter Mydesert.com had with band frontman/guitarist Josh Homme. You can read a bit more about that at the aforementioned link.

      Fuuuuck yeah. Make it a little better than the last one. Though I wouldn’t say the last one was in any way poor just not up to the standard of, say, Songs for the Deaf or Lullabies. “Turning on the Screw” is a killer groove, though.

      Basically, I’ll find a way to dig anything they put out.

      Era Vulgaris was poor. It was an art rock record, minus art and rock. Hopefully with this one they go back to what they’re good at, instead of trying to be a poor man’s Talking Heads.
