All That Remains Frontman Phil Labonte On Potential Label Beef, Slams Black Veil Brides’ Andy Biersack
Either All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte is doing some playful ribbing or he has legitimate beef with Prosthetic Records co-founder E.J. Johantgen. Speaking through his Facebook/Twitter earlier this week, Labonte offered:
“I can’t help but wonder why we’re the biggest band on @ProstheticRcds and EJ just doesn’t like me anymore. You mad cause I sing too much now?”
Meanwhile, there was no mistaking Labonte‘s thoughts on Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack. You can find those via his Facebook or in the screencap below:

Atr has been a joke since “this calling”. Being the “biggest” band on prosthetic isn’t a big deal. They kind of are by default. Lamb of god are on epic and himsa broke up. Atr couldn’t hold a candle to either of them.
I hope some day Phil actually realizes he can’t really sing. Sure, the studio fixes him up fine, but live he is just brutal on the clean vocals. Can’t hack it at all.
man, the singing of what I saw on their live dvd on YT was absolute garbage. ATR would be better as an obscure Deathcore band than as the mainstream A7X type bullshit they try to pull now.

Prosthetic records? Never heard of em. Probably because they suck dick. good metal label? Metalblade, Sumerian Century Media, hell even Victory has a few respectable bands. Andy may look weird, but he’s funny, and tall as fuck. 6’4, i think. anyway, show’s how respectful Phil is. He was a marine? Big whoop, he knows how to fight, you don’t need a brain to be a marine, just a big ego. Music wise, I prefer BVB simply because I feel they have a more technical prowess. Both bands have shitty vocalists. well.. ATR is shitty in general. Haha.

Ya know, I’m not sure. I was half asleep when I wrote this. BVB’s music doesn’t suck, it’s actually good. Their vocals or image is what most people dislike. you cannot sit their and tell me that their guitarists have no talent. I just don’t like ATR’s sound. It bugs me. Not heavy enough. but this is just my opinion, others’ will vary.
I actively despise BVBs sound, and even though i don’t like oli herbert’s solos, there still is no question he is a million times better than bvbs guitarists

I hate BVB by the way. Mostly because their gimmick and music sucks, but part of it is because they had one girl that wanted to sleep with them and recorded her being a slut and put in on youtube. My girlfriend hates that chick (yes she knowns her) so she gets a kick out of it.
I’ve loved ATR for a long time, but as of recently I’ve seen what a hilariously pathetic windbag Phil is. He really is just a lot of hot air, but I’m not excusing the necessity of using the word ‘FAGGOT’ in all capital letters on a public forum to describe one of his contemporaries. If Phil wasn’t such pea-brained dickwrinkle, he’d realize, whether he likes it or not, that BVB are his contemporaries. They are both mainstream “metal” bands. I’m sure he thinks he’s a big ballsy boy by making pissy comments about the head of his record label and other bands he may cross paths with in the near future, but he should be a little more careful with the things he says.
His facebook and twitter are also used as a daily platform to spew his political and personal beliefs as if they are gospel, enhanced with such nuggets as “it is NOT your constitutional right to get your feelings hurt” and “you get mad, you lose.” It’s really funny because plenty of his fans and followers call him out on his shit, which causes him to…you guessed it…get pissy and hurt.

ATR might be the biggest band on Prosthetic, but the BEST Prosthetic band is definitely Gojira.
Debatable…there’s Animals As Leaders, Junius, Through the Eyes of the Dead, and The Acacia Strain…but Gojira is no joke.

I’m not a fan of either, however I loathe BvB. I find it hilarious though how people mistake that guy for a chick though. The “faggot” comment is idiotic for innumerable reasons, even PC aside. When you see that guy, what is the first word that comes to mind? I guess I’d say the same thing if I were an ignorant hypocrite who doesn’t realize that not everyone uses the word “faggot” to describe obnoxious women-like males who aren’t even making any real statement, rather than to insult homosexuals. Then again, when I look at his picture the first word that comes to mind is “douchebag”, music aside since yeah, ATR has written some decent stuff.
