I actually don’t mind a lot of the music here… but I think I’m just done with Davis’ voice. Every time I hear him now, I think “Ugh, there he is whining again… yeah yeah, you hate everything and life is hard… shat ap…”

I with you dude, especially the first song. Maybe if it had someone like Mike Patton singing it would be awesome. The lyrics are the same ol’ Davis bullshit

    • Jon Davis is like the Eminem of metal, always fucking complaining about life and how hard it is having sex with porn stars and drinking Santana Champ all night long, because it’s so crisp of course.

Well then if he posted solo stuff the next logical material he’ll post will be with his half-brother Marky Chavez. I knew he left Adema again for something more important! Whiner + Whiner = WINNERS!

@allchs – nope, buddies opened for them last Monday and he wasn’t. They said he dropped back out and fuck him… but then again who gives a shit about Adema. With them without them, who gives a shit.

I think Adema’s debut is the CD I owned for the least amount of time. Bought it in the Korn-ol’days because of the Davis connection, and sold that shit a couple weeks after. Uninspired carbon copy of everything that was going on at that time (like many other bands, I’m sure).

I think the “we love you John, drop a Cleveland steamer in our mouths and we will gobble it up none the less” comments underneath the songs are the main highlights here.
Would anyone care to form a non biased opinion on the actual songs, rather than spew “we love everything from you, ever” nonsense?
Korn has gone downhill for the past 15 plus years. Period. I’m almost at the point where I don’t like them anymore. There, I said it. Feels good.

    • Fuck. I lost this band when I was in 7th grade. I bought follow the leader second day it came out, then I remember walking down the halls, and these fucking ass clowns dressed like they’re in the band coal chamber all saying how cool korn is. My band was stolen from me long ago, they weren’t my band anymore when the mainstream got a hold of it and called it theirs.

I’ve lost interest KoRn since 2003, but I have to say I’m impressed by Final Days. You can hear a Queen of the Damned vibe, and it’s great !

    • 1st song. Sounds like JD has been dabbling around in a Buddha Bar CD. My feelings associated with JD & Korn aren’t one bit peaceful or give a sense of enlightenment. It makes me feel like someone poured oil in my water. He should have left this sort of stuff up to Max Cavalera.

2nd song. Stopped listening because I can’t stand how it sounds like he’s always in a hallway when he records vocals…

3rd song. The lyrics… Man, the lyrics are horrible.
Wow dude, your so cool. You medicate the pain away. You sound like such an awesome person. I think I want you to be my role model, my friend, my neighbor.
Get over it JD. Your what, in your late 30′s now? Get it together you look like an ass.

That’s how I feel about it.

    • @NdR23 – Seems like a pretty silly reason to stop liking a band. For an immature 7th grader it makes sense, but I hope you aren’t still walking around with this faux-underground possessive attitude. Just because “your” band grows too big to fit in your back pocket, you can’t be happy for their success and share your appreciation with other fans?

“final days”: it sounds like he just took some royalty-free audio loops from mac software at random and sung over them. sadly, i don’t think the title is any indication of him taking his dying music off life support.
