Tool Reveal Opener For Summer Tour, Add More Dates

Tool have recruited Wovenhand to open for them on the June 19th to June 28th leg of their summer tour, dates for which now run as follows:

    • Wovenhand (also spelled as Woven Hand) is a band from Denver, Colorado led by former 16 Horsepower lead singer David Eugene Edwards. Woven Hand’s music combines elements of neofolk, alternative country, post-rock, punk, industrial music, folk rock, old-time music and native American music, among other influences.

      Wovenhand is a great band with a great vocalist and musicians. Hopefully Tool fans will embrace them better than they did Fantomas or Tomahawk when all I heard were booos

      Huh. I have seen King Crimson, Meshuggah and The Melvins open for TOOL; I can’t say I agree with your 90%-of-the-time calculation.

      We didn’t embrace Tomahawk because they sucked so bad. It was insulting to the crowd to have to watch and listen to that nonsense.
