Emmure frontman has tweeted about his current state of health and his plans for recovery. Palmeri tore a vocal cord earlier in the year on tour and has been suffering from it and related illness ever since. Most recently the band canceled their European tour to give him some time to heal. Palmeri said last night:
Thank you all for the get well wishes. This is going to be a lengthy road to recovery. Let's not make it a focus though I still have a life.

Faced with some downtime, the band expect to work on material for a new album in the weeks to come.
