Recording sessions are underway for the new Paradise Lost album and according to the band themselves, this effort will feature a substantial “death metal edge.” Their official word on the matter reads:
“We began recording sessions for our new album this week with Jamie Gomez Arellano of Orgone Studios in London (Ghost BC Ulver, Cathedral, Angel Witch) – www.orgonestudios.com
Our approach on this album is quite different and embraces the band’s VERY early days, with the last few years. We have written a very dark, yet melodic album – but this time many songs definitely have a death metal edge, which is something we haven’t done for a long, long time in Paradise Lost…
The album is set to be released via Century Media Records in late April 2015.”
