Given the name of Baptists‘ mini-tour you shouldn’t expect them to be celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend. The group said of that via Facebook:
“We embark on our Fuck Thanksgiving Canadian Stolen Land mini-tour today. We are playing in Edmonton and Calgary during this “holiday.” Here is a list of Alberta’s Residential Schools. Aboriginal youth were taken from their homes and placed in these schools to have their culture and language beaten out of them. The only thing we should be thankful for is nothing. Fuck your holiday
