Veil Of Maya still intend to release their new album before the years end. The group began recording sessions for it this past spring with Volumes guitarist Diego Farias handling the production. Vocalist Brandon Butler recently explained to Loudwire that the band are taking their time with the effort, offering:
“It’s going to be out this year. We don’t want to put out an album that’s rushed. We want to make sure it’s where we want it to be and what we think a quality album should be.”
Fans shouldn’t expect all of the new material to sound like “Subject Zero” however, as guitarist Marc Okubo stated:
“I can honestly say that’s the only song that sounds like that. If people are worried, they shouldn’t be. We try and make albums with every song sounding different. That’s how we like to do it.”
